       What is a Joint Mortgage Partner or Series LLC?

 

A Joint Mortgage Partner or Series LLC is a strategic alliance formed between Summit Home Funding and a partnering Member such as a builder/developer, real estate company, financial service company or credit union. The Summit Joint Mortgage Partner model is designed to provide multiple benefits to its partners and their clients.

When you become a Joint Mortgage Partner your customers will benefit from a true one-stop-shopping model. This will enable you to retain and attract more clients, while sharing in the profits generated by your new mortgage lending arm.



How Does it Work?

 

In conjunction with our partner member, we create an operating division of Summit Home Funding, LLC a limited liability company. In essence a new mortgage entity is created.

The partnering member and Summit Home Funding capitalize this new entity, and the profits are split according to the percentage of ownership. Only a modest initial investment is required from the members.

Summit Home Funding takes the responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the new entity, giving it mortgage banking status that allows it to process, underwrite, fund and close loans.
